Despite the shorter week, we’ve still had plenty to do:

  • Mary has been working with the Recruitment team to improve the jobs page on our intranet. The aim was to make it clearer to internal applicants how to view vacancies and apply for them.

  • James is working with our GDPR subject matter expert (SME) to check his draft guidance about following GDPR in user research. He’s also gathering analytics about our recruitment pages, and joining a meeting to discuss behavioural insights from customer research into the Taff catchment flood area.

  • Laura travelled to Bangor to meet with Lucinda, Shaun, Toyah and Heledd over lunch. They discussed plans for October’s all-team meeting in Aberystwyth, Laura’s new content and operations role, and some of the upcoming changes to our team structure.

  • The publishing officers have been busy as always, with several evidence reports coming through, and a couple of big annual reports to prepare for publishing at the end of the month. Sophie re-published the enormous SONaRR report following feedback from the SME, and Hannah collaborated with the Communications and National Peatland Action Programme teams to launch this year’s peatland restoration grant.

  • Kim and Jane have been working together to mock up some options for how we could display Freedom of Information requests.
