Here’s what we’ve been up to this week…

  • Heledd has been drafting a delivery manual to help staff and suppliers meet our digital standards. She’s also been looking at projects and priorities from September onwards
  • Laura sent the form for ‘statutory access to land we manage’ to SMEs for review
  • Toyah has been working on the marine customer platform with our development partners
  • Lucinda has been working on user journey mapping / sign-in route for our flood warning service
  • James is compiling a user research library
  • Alex is finalising project approval for improving our intranet. He’s also been working on the Umbraco upgrade and release requirements
  • Mary has been rolling out training to our Communications team about good practice when writing web content
  • Jane and Sam had a check-in session with SMEs about our new a forest management plan content
  • Sam has agreed our new digital waste tracking page. It follows a similar pattern to our ‘Buy a rod licence’ service, i.e. a brief explanation then a link off to the Gov.uk site. Sam also had a content design session about using change notes on our website. These would help users track how our guidance has changed over the years.
