It’s quieter than usual this week, with lots of our team on leave enjoying the start of the summer holidays. The rest of us have still been kept busy:

  • The annual report and accounts web page (and accompanying PDF) were published, just in time to launch at the Royal Welsh show. A fully accessible version of the PDF is being worked on this week, with the publishing officers advising on best practice.
  • Following an extended team discussion led by Heledd about how we work and how we can improve, Sam has been helping coordinate a team “summer sort out”. We’re taking the opportunity to document key processes, share knowledge that isn’t yet written down, review our standards and look at how we communicate updates within the team and wider. We’re also exploring ways to get more from the tools we use every day, helping the team work more consistently and efficiently both now and in the future.
  • Following the successful launch of the new forest management plan application service last week, Jane has been working on a design history and blog about the project. She’s also been doing some more work on updating the A to Z style guide.
