It’s been another busy week in the world of Digital…

  • Sophie has been working with Caroline in Flood to review a new flood template and support in the creation of accessible resources that can be used by businesses and individuals across Wales in case of emergencies.
  • Mary and Sophie collaborated with DDaT teams to compile and draft the bi‑monthly newsletter, highlighting key stories, relevant news and achievements. They also introduced new ways to engage staff, including a summer‑themed banner and responding to issues raised in previous staff feedback.
  • On the forest management plan project, everything is on track for the launch date of 15th July. Sam and Jane have received the content back from Welsh translation so are busy getting the website and form content ready for testing next week. They are also doing a demo to Welsh Government to update them on the new approach.
  • Laura and Phil continue to refine the ‘change a species’ application form – more feedback from subject matter experts have thrown up potential changes needed to the structure
  • Laura and Sam have prototyped a new form to request access to land we manage for utility and infrastructure need – the user need was identified when reviewing the data from the ‘apply to use land we manage’ form.
  • Shaun finalised the new low risk impoundment pages and amendments to water abstraction content.
  • Shaun met with Sophie and Geraint to discuss farming content on the website that is now out of date and how we can work together to improve this content for our users.
